Ordered this item up way back in April, well before boating season, but now that we're in the thick of summer, it was time to try it out.
Judging from the fairly small package, I was skeptical what I would fine inside, but that skepticism was unfounded.
This is a well made towable, with all the features you would expect: nylon fabric outer shell with heavy duty zipper, quick connect for the tow rope, plenty of reinforced grab handles, etc.
Unboxing, I thought it was missing the cap and plug for the main air connection, but found that lying on the ground, so it was shipped loose in the bag. Also loose in the bag was a patch kit.
Once aired up, this towable is a little smaller than our other two person airhead brand one, and also a bit thinner. It can deal with two teenagers, but calling this a three person would be a stretch.
To test it out, I enlisted my son and his friend, hooked it up behind the waverunner, and gave it the beans. The tube planes well and isn't prone to submarine once you successfully eject the riders. The boys say it's more fun than our other two person tube, mainly because it's a little smaller and harder to stay on. Durability wise, I was not being gentle on it, and after an hour of hooning around, there are no signs of anything failing.
Overall, at the current price, this is a very good value for a two person towable that is well made and works well too.
